Don't know the year, but mine was a Suzuki TS 100. Basically a dual sport but I rode it like a supercross bike. Good thing it was slow or I'd be dead.

Our microwave died last night. It was expensive when I bought it in 2012 for here, where we live now, it bakes too as we didn't have a stove/oven then. Got us by til remodel and cooktop & oven installed.

Last night Kid opened it to get her food and it didn't turn off, kept running with door open. Digital display screen dark/blank. Now, with the major kitchen appliances here, it's only used for reheating. They had to unplug it for it to stop.

This one was 1100W. I see one 950W.

    Anyone love theirs?

Sorry I haven't been online for a while. I recently had two strokes, a DVT, and cellulitis. Then off to rehab. I got the left-sided weakness, word salads, and double vision. The weekends is getting better, as is the speech. The double f vision is horrid. With a lot of help, I am back home.

Mine blew up last Jan. was just reheating a cup off coffee. Nice wierd fireworks- like AuroaBoreallis inside the unit . went to best buy returns and discontinued store in Milwaukee. Got a little bigger one and fancier for apx 1/2 list. 1982 I bought a microwave for my mom. At the time she was taking care of my first son while myself and wife wereat work. Got it for her to heat kids bottles and such . Took her awhile to get used to using it ( was afraid of it at first) Microwaves had just hit the market back then. That unit was $349 back then and very basic compared to todays units.

I have had several over the years. Generally I go for at least 1100 watt as they are larger inside . They heat better than the 950 units. I can get a large casserole dish in there. I have an electric stove/ oven , I dislike the electric stove part primarily because when you turn off a burner it is still hot long after, which means i have to remove whatever or it will be over cooked. Not much different than cooking on a wood stove. got spoiled when I had a natural gas unit- flame off = heat off. I do like the electric oven though vs a gas one.

Okay, I'll move up in wattage from the 950W, thanks. The deals I see right now are 1.1 cu ft, and 1,000W, that seems odd to me, then again I haven't shopped for a microwave in 13 years lol.

Welcome back. It's frustrating when health issues start stacking up, as they sometimes do. Glad you are making progress, and don't be too proud to ask for help when you need it (spoken as a stubborn, proud old guy that has been crippled up and needed help more than once...).

I'd go with at least 1,000w as most frozen product takes into account of either that or 1,100w. 950w would be the odd duckling in there. At the same time, you probably don't need anything fancy, just make sure it's large enough for whatever dishes you regularly place in there. Mine is a 2014 GE, bought as a open box store model in 2016 for $70. It has done well although every once in a while it forgets to beep at the end, but that is minor. It is also 1.6 cu/ft because it is over-the-range model.

Edit: I see you found something - 1.1 cu/ft is still pretty decent size, especially for a countertop model.

Welcome back Larry. Sounds like you have gone thru a whole lot in a short time. Glad you are back home and getting better physically and speech wise. I hope the vision issue sorts itself out.
