    Sloppy wintry day. Overcast. 23⁰/40⁰ we look to be on the warm side of today's weather event. Snow/rain mix starting mid-morning.

    I'll make a grocery run before settling in feeding the stove. A fine day to sit in front of the woodstove.

    Good Morning… :coffee: …. We ended up around 3”-3.5” of snow yesterday… luckily I made it to work before and left after most of the chaos was done…. But for the most part the city’s did a good job of plowing…. Down to 20F this morning….

    Morning all. I thought I saw a couple of stars out when I was out with the dogs. Weather has been warmer with some rain yesterday and then it was nice for the afternoon.
    I think we have rain predicted for today.
    Last day of scheduled work. My brain has been really worked this past week. I joked that I went to work to take a vacation from retirement but this is enough to make me realize that I don't want to go back working full time.

    Dec. 1 and I have roses blooming on my oldest rose bush. Christmas lights are up outside and roses are blooming. If it was dry enough, I would be mowing lawns as well.

    Everyone have a great day.

    My first picture reminds me that we have an old old satellite dish still on the house.

    The sun should show up this morning. 27⁰/40⁰

    Yesterday's weather started with .25/inch of snow that a steady rain took away. Sometime overnight, it snowed another .25/inch.

    Trucks have been spreading salt. It looks crusty outside.

    Real cold spills in tomorrow and Friday.

    No real plans for the day aside from lunch out with Truckaa.

    I got a load of wood with the tractor but it is parked in the barn for now. However, with the forecast I may go ahead and unload it today before the cold-cold comes in. It's going to feel like mid January for a few days so we'll be needing plenty of wood.

    Hello winter, my old friend (love/hate relationship). What a difference a few days makes. Went from no snow on the ground Saturday (everything from prior storms had melted) to 3" on Sunday and somewhere around 10" yesterday. Time to clean up. Coffee and breakfast first. Got the snowblower out yesterday (new last winter) and though it fired right up, it wouldn't go into gear. Took off the belly pan and somehow the drive belt had come off. Relatively easy fix (other than doing it in the middle of a snowstorm and making sure cold fingers didn't drop any bolts in the snow). Yesterday was one of those days when nothing seemed to go right so I said nope, I'll clean up everything tomorrow (today) after the storm ends. Hope everyone has a great day. (Pics were from earlier yesterday before the bulk of the snow fell.)
