    I know this wood species came up a while back. I can tell you it smells awesome outside when burning it. I had to slog through the foot of snow we got and haul a sled worth of wood to the house.

    It would make an excellent smoking wood.

    I'll save a few pieces for my buddies that smoke food.

    Ive been told its pretty much the same as regular apple in terms of smoking.

    I have a cord of wood on the patio stack. I just didn't want touch that. Hauling a jet sled full of wood up the hill is good exercise. And this way I will have a path blazed, which will make my future work easier. I'm planning that the rest of the eyes will need to be hauled up by sled, because the wheeled gorilla cart doesn't go though snow well. Maybe I'll get lucky and I can use the trailer and the tractor, but I doubt it

    Lol. His zero turn is parked now. But if there wasn't about a foot of snow out there he would be mowing.

    He should put a snow blade on his zero turn. They look pretty cool rigged that way.
