That brings back memories. That was a once a year treat. Do they still sell it?

Mine is apple pie. Never been a fan of sweet potato in any form. I mean if you have to smother it in butter and brown sugar to eat it…
    Happy Thanksgiving!

Yep. This map is AI BS. Never heard of such a thing either. Sure in WI we grow a ton of cranberries, but we don't make pies from them.

Yes, me too! Dutch Apple is really good. I haven't had that in about 30 years.

We had Pumpkin, Apple Streusel Pie, Peanut Butter something pie, carrot cake and your choice of whipped cream and/or vanilla bean ice cream.

I had a little of all. They were all delicious.

I don't smother mine in anything. Do I add a bit of cinnamon, vanilla, butter and maple syrup, then let it all blend nicely together in the fridge overnight? Sure - but they certainly aren't smothered. But what exactly do people do to pumpkin to make it edible (hint, a lot more than what I do to sweet potatoes - especially on the sweetener side)? Pies, by definition (a well-known, made-up fact that I did not research - LOL) are filled with tons of sugars, spices, butter etc.

But, if we all had the same tastes in food, then life would be boring. I'm sure there are things I don't like that would amuse others.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
