Popular Thanksgiving Pie by State. Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, since I can’t ever recall a pie that I didn’t like I’d be up for trying cranberry y’all!

 

Never heard of it but sounds good.

 

I would definitely try cranberry and I bet it's good.

Boiled cider is just what is sounds like take cider and boil it down, like sap to syrup, it thickens to a pudding and put it in pie crust.. rich delicious

Served while still warm and with some vanilla ice cream on the side. That's how my maw maw used to do it. So good!

IIRC it was close to 3/4 gallon for 1.
Small slices were key as, umm put nicely, would cure constipation

My Wif makes a blackberry and blueberry pie. She calls it (obviously) "black and blue" berry pie. Rubs all the seeded blackberries through a strainer first then adds the blue berries. Right near the top on my list!

Where is peach on that list? Peach is one of my favorites if its done well. Like Walts for instance. Then there's banana cream. Mmmm

 

Sounds good to me. Haven't had any butternut squash for a while, may have to pick some up now

 

Peaches aren't in season for Thanksgiving so I wouldn't expect it to be on the list. Now, peach pie in the middle of summer - definitely one of the top pies.
