    Didn't get to split wood yesterday so maybe today.

    Yesterday we had 7 deer bed close to the house all morning. None yet this morning.

    Also we went to the opening of the Christmas festival at a nearby village last evening. There was supposed to be the big steam engine pull in while we were there but it broke down so they did a switch and brought the cars in with diesel power. A bit of a letdown but it will be back every weekend until Christmas.

    Morning all. I haven't looked outside yet but light rain is predicted. Weather stayed nice yesterday while we were traveling around the city.

    Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3: 15

    Peace is sometimes hard to come by as we deal with all the frustrations and trials of our daily lives. Yet peace can be in our heart as we look at the bigger picture of Jesus' return to this earth to bring an end to all the sorrows, death and sin that we grapple with today. The old hymn - Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus - could become our theme song in our hearts. Today take time to do that - turn your eyes upon Jesus and thank him for all he has done for you.

    My Mom receiving her BC Medal of Good Citizenship award yesterday. We were in the Hall of Honour in our provincial parliament buildings.

    Yesterday morning we finished having new windows installed. We thought it was time to replace the original windows from 1973. We went with Renewal by Anderson. The crew did a good job installing them. Now to pay for them:makeitrain"

    Yep, we have gotten a couple quotes to replace 11 windows on our house...:faint::faint::faint::faint::faint::faint:
    Those '95 windows are still there...

    Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a SUPER SATURDAY, cloudy this morning, got a light rain for a bit, partly cloudy now. Got close to 80⁰ today. Worked 6AM-6PM shift, got 1 more to go. Watched the DAWGS win today, probably watch more games tonight.

    I think I saw you're on the Cape somewhere. Your profile says something different. We head to the Cape several times a year. We have a week of timeshare at Brewster Green.

    Yes indeed. I really wanted Jarrod Mayo to work out as a coach, but I think he was too rushed. He needed about 5 more years of being an assistant and then I think he might have been ready. Mike Vrabel is the real deal. I liked him as a player and now as a coach. I'm glad to see Josh McDaniels back (again). Drake Maye has been a lot better this year.

    My family owns a home on the cape in Falmouth and I'm the defacto caretaker. We spend a fair amount of time there, especially in the off season.
