I don't care to cut and sell red oak. It is a great burning firewood and what I mainly heat my house with in the Lopi. This red oak is about 18 months seasoned, but gets funky on the ends. Spilt and tested a few pieces and in the 12-14% moisture range. About as low as it will get in Middle TN. This lady for the past four years as always given me a dozen eggs and all my bundle bags back at every delivery. I don't discount my firewood to anybody, buy load up those I appreciate. Delivered about 55 cuft on this delivery. Two wheelbarrows full on her front porch with another 1 cuft bag of kindling.
You have already admitted to being a non seller of firewood, but you sure do like posting like a real seller!
Buzz, you sure do like posting a lot of likes, but show me and all of your firewood sellers what you get for your efforts.
Yes, when you bank $325 a rick for hickory and white oak, all else is garbage. But red oak and hard maple is what keeps my house a toasty 75 degrees throughout the winter.
Yes, you are confused because you don't sell firewood to the top 5% of the country who demand the best firewood their money can buy.
