I've tried counting when I was splitting , just can't do it . Can't do it when loading the truck. But I can when offloading .
What size wood are u splitting ? My customers that buy split wood don't want to have to do any splitting to be able to feed their stoves . So I go a bit smaller than necessary. I split it to a size my wife can run the woodstove with.
I did yesterday when splitting some old BL just to see what the yield was of the rounds I had moved. Didn't quite make a half cord around 350 splits. I admit I'm weird!
