    Pete,
You can get some good deals off CL for sure. But a stove sold that has an unknown history can either be a gold mine or a money dump. You are handy and can figure things out easily.
But if you want a solid deal, the am/fm is about the best way to go. whatever you do, get one with a good heating capacity and a know hx of performance and support. Installation and maintainance by the manual will keep you warm and safe. Good luck.

AMFM is a good route.. Mike Holton and his team are second to none..

But don't count out CL yet. There is a nice Harman Accentra near me for a 1/4 the price of new.

It's nit always the size of the burn pot that matters. It's the way it burns them. Some stoves have huge pots, and create a fairly small fire. Some are small, but have a blaze roaring out of it.

Any stoves you see that you want advice on? Post them up in here and these guys will give you the Pro's and Con's of that particular unit..

Its funny you go one county in any direction away from the capital and BAM PRESTO no problems lol. I live 45 minutes from the capital on the other end of the county who seat isnt even in the capital city and the bs still reaches out here.... Ive lived in other counties and they are super layed back by comparison. O well just teaches me patience. ( after I get impatient and hollar lol )
