You are just slightly below our temperature. Our stove has burned a goodly amount of wood already this fall but not as much as normal. Maybe we'll be catching up soon if we end up colder than normal as some predict.

Staying in the 30's today and we only got some flurries overnight. Ridgetops got about a half inch in spots. Nothing to write home about.

I have noticed the same thing; by all purposes radar will be showing snow or rain but in fact, it's only in the clouds. That's why I like to check the webcams.

We never got above freezing today. Had to shovel the ramp, decks and sidewalk since I don't want any of the 3" or so freezing to the surfaces.

The driveway and parking area are on their own!

68 and raining. The arctic blast is on the backside of the system. Just heard a rumble thunder. All indoor racks are prepared for battle. High of 40 sumthin tomorrow followed by a hard freeze.
The guy who stopped by today to inquire about my firewood cost is going to wish he pulled the trigger yesterday.

40* now headed to 22* tonight. Still no fire. Inside temp holding at 68 thanks to solar gain. It'll probably drop down to about 66* by morning.

Almost too windy out to go get ice cream.... We prevailed. :)

A few snowflakes. Seems to me that it gets darker every year. Ooofda. About to retire from driving at night.

    Enjoy your stoves everyone.

25/75 Was awakened by one of the dogs licking my face because she had to go outside. Big mulberry crotch I put in at 10 is still going strong as a giant coal.

First call in for snow route.
Means wife's running stove this am
That usually means a cold house. She tends to run it on the choked down side.
There is a big bed of chunky coals from overnight

Looks like about 5" of movable snow laying around on decks and walkways and parking area. I don't think I'll clear much from the park area and I know I won't touch the driveway.

    Well, that's the plan anyway.

    19. Our first temp in the teens for the season. Yesterday's high was 33 so we didn't lose much snow and got more. I don't know how much we got all total but guessing 3-4" is all.

I did see on a weather map there was one report of single digit.

Just below freezing, and heading for 7C/45F today, which is a fair bit above average. Hopefully the snow will disappear. Ugly poplar for breakfast.
