    Really nice loads of logs, Jo. I think those 1st loads are ELM...we'll take it...lol.
    Do you ever trim the knots off smooth? I try to, had logs hang up before because of knots.

    Another guy with the Elm humor heh? Someday my time will come LOL

    I try not to just to save time, especially if I’m parked in the road, get in get out. Today was the first time this season I trimmed some knots and branches still connected. This crew was a little sloppier than the other road. With the tong I can usually spin the log as I’m pulling and lifting to get the ugly stuff positioned so it’s less likely to hang up. A peavey wouldn’t hurt sometimes too but I’m surviving without.
