Did this 1 1/2 cord load all by hand . First time it's been frozen enough to drive the truck into the timbersale in more than 2 weeks . MUD , I HATE FIGHTING MUD ! Had fun loading and stacking by hand . 1.5 cord stacked , takes the same volume size as 1 cord of loose th e way I do it . 193 cubic feet
2 cord load . 1 on the truck . 1 on the trai ler. Not quite a full cord on the truck but it went to my house . It was all Birch. Well over a cord of Spruce on the trailer so it is a 2 cord liad
It is indeed a blessing to find ways within your means to truly help other folks. I’ve been able to help quite a few folks over the years with different things, and it’s come back to me a couple of times when I was laid up unexpectedly and needed help. I’m sure the recipients sincerely appreciate your kindness.
Nope . Steers good . F350 FORD POWER !!!! Just kidding . But , it steers fine . Trick is , don't go abovec1 cord on the truck so the 1,000 lb lounge weight isn't too much . I don't do 1.5 cord in the truck when I'm pulling the trailer loaded with a cord .
So , the gain of pulling the trailer is basically $150 per round trip to the woods . What i work to do is a cord on each , truck and trailer with 1 going to 1 customer and the other a freebie. Like my wood ect Doesn't always work that way . But often it does
You always have some impressive loads! Amazing how much more volume you can get the less you process it.
2 more trailer loads of white oak delivered this morning...we delivered this one @8AM... Made a call to a friend that asked about a load 2 weeks ago, before we decided to pull from that shed...said he definitely wanted cord if he could get it. Miz Carol came out and helped me load, we had it tarped by 9:30AM... 65 miles to their house...
