Last load for this job. Did good overall. 2.5-ish cords, got some walking around money, and had a lot of fun.

    Another sweet load.

What did you put on the handle of that Stihl (461?) to make it textured?

Yessir, a 461. It's a Weber Customs full wrap bar, and it came that way. It's like a rubber of some sort. Very nice bar. I like it better than the 3/4 wrap Stihl bars.

Yesterdays load. Might be the last of the year, might have to do a victory lap and grab a load of fenceposts. Not sure yet. On the bright side, was out hunting at the neighbors, and he's in the process of cutting some trails, so I can get some fun in before the snow falls, or knock some down in spring! All the fun, none of the clean up

I think it was time to change the photo lol, the fire pic was there since forever. Had a meeting with my knees, back and shoulders...going for another load this year has been voted down so I'll be happy to watch you guys (and ladies) load up those trucks.

Our neighbor had a number of Ash trees taken down and offered me the wood. Ash is not my favorite firewood but it burns and is free. I'm guessing between the two loads, there's close to a cord. 20251019_102946.jpg 20251019_143255.jpg

Why yes, I hoard rocks too :emb: I’ve been adding to the rock wall at my house for over a year now, with no end in sight. These rocks came from a 200 something year old abandoned quarry site, and I believe they’re a mix of granite and feldspar.
