Welcome Cavtrooper :handshake: Great to have you.

FHC is a great place to hang out and BS about anything firewood related and then some. We love seeing pics and lots of them.

Great saw the 261. Your 290 will become a shelf queen. I know from experience.

The 441 is a pro level saw. I've never run one and haven't heard anything bad about it. Its now obsolete replaced by the 462. A great saw in its own right. The 500i is sweeeet if your willing to dish out the money. I own both of the latter and sometimes its hard to choose which goes to the cut.

We are notorious here for helping other members spend money on firewood making equipment. :makeitrain"

Resized_20250823_171106.jpeg I've been doing bins this year. I have about 8 cords stacked in barn that dry and ready. This is my stuff I am seasoning for next year

No one here would ever do that! Not like we have a 165 page thread on Kabuta's at Play alone
