Looking really good. A real workshop and fun to be in.

 

Looks like I can get the 8 gallon steel tank version with the 1hp motor for 180 + tax delivered.

My older air compressor did get louder over the years (along with me, too!)

..been using these Milton High Flow fittings for a couple years. Noticeable differences...especially with the blast cabinet...and blow gun !

I ended up ordering this as it came in at $135 vs $200. The ratings are 4.5 vs 4.6 so I'm hoping it's reputation will live up to it. I'm sure it's a California air compressor knock off......

Amazingly quiet! It'll be used in the workshop for winter and then moved to the garage for summer months.

Speaking of the workshop, I was puttering around in the workshop yesterday (basement) and heard what sounded like a vehicle outside. The dogs were upstairs and didn't go ballistic so I though nothing more of it. Later on, 99 lbs steps outside to get the mail and tells me "There is a package on the doorstep. The box says air compressor."

Cripes, it was here in 2 days! Very unusual.

 

I believe I have same craftsman toolbox I inherited from gramps, ridged screw gun and drill press. I remember moving press… Twice never used it.

Well............after looking at the compressor in your pics as compared to the size of the compressor I got, I measured the tank and it turns out to be a 6 gallon tank and not an 8 gallon tank as advertised.

I will be making a phone call today or tomorrow to see what will be done about that.

$50 certificate for future purchases. Sigh.

 

Any option to just send it back for refund ?
