We broke down and fired the NZ3K the other evening, Temps bottomed out in the low 30s with a heavy frost. Had a few other "chiller killer" fires the past week on the cooler nights, tis the season! Make sure yinz are checking your setup prior to firing up this fall!

You guys are always welcome, as you know... but that busy thing sure is no surprise. I remember you and I sittin out by the "owl perch" 8 years ago, and while we were chattin, you were having a hard time keeping up with all of the FHC member requests (along with other mods) on your phone... when the membership was more like 3500 then. Now... 8372! o_O...:faint:... guessing you must have 3-4 phones on ya 24/7? :D

We're not there yet with the indoor fire, but we will be soon. Maybe next week.

I have to run the brush down the liner to verify it's all good, but there should be no issues.

Hopefully I'll see you next Spring in Michigan.

I've been holding out as long as possible but I'm sure it won't be long. Sure don't miss the bugs!

Hope all is well with you and yours Scotty.

Welp, just lit of the lil Drolet 1400i in the fireplace...5 lil chunkies of poplar from the 2 trees that I took down in the backyard are toasting quite nicely...doesn't take much heat to drive off the chill this time of year. :dennis: :)

Looking good and your wife always has the decorations just right. No fire here yet but the NG boiler a smidge in the mornings. I want to clean off the cat, take a peek down the liner and replace the door gasket yet. It won't be long though.
