Broke my 3rd IsoCore about 3 weeks ago. Filled out the warranty info right away. They finally emailed me today asking for more information and a receipt. I never had any issues on previous warranty claims.

of course I don’t have a receipt any more so they turned down the claim.

I guess I’ll just have to splurge for a new one and try to remember where I put the receipt.

Unless someone knows of a better maul.

Put the receipt in a small zip-lock bag and tape it inside the hollow handle of the next Fiskars maul that you buy. It will be right there when/if it breaks.

That stinks. Too many fraudulent claims maybe? I've broken two but no longer hand split. I mostly use the Isocore to section up rounds to make for easier loading/unloading.

Im thinking its not as good as they claim it to be. I do like it and their X27 axe.

Maybe time for a hydro or to switch brands Dakota Hoarder? My beef was when I broke the second one. I use it for what it was designed for including a sledge hammer and wasn't afraid to beat the living death out of it.

Good idea...except I'd forget it out in the woods, and rain would fill the handle...:hair:

Purchase online and pick up. Save the confirmation email?

I'm OOL on all my stuff because I do not have any receipts. The only thing I've broken so far of theirs was the jaws on my Stik pruner. Have worn out several pair of the gear loppers. I'm gonna be peesed if I ever break the shovel or hole diggers.
