Owner called me. Turns out he has a technology problem with his communication system. [texting to e-mails/messaging] :picard:Technology. He had everything cleaned up and then all of a sudden it dumped 75 text messages to him from different people. He called me right up and said they’re figuring it out. He’ll call me Monday or Tuesday whenever they get it done. He has put a very experienced diesel mechanic on troubleshooting it. Fingers crossed.

Well, we're glad the owner called you and is very aware of the problem. That's good. Hope they can figure it out soon.

Last year when our L3130 went down with transmission problems, it was a mess. We carried it to them in July, it was Sept 20 when we got it back. Shop had 1 mechanic to work on tractors, he basically came in when he wanted to. Thankfully he is no longer there.

Maybe he was busy making premium Benjamin's somewhere else on his own?

That's basically what he was doing. He would work some on his own, then at the dealership. Knew his stuff but wasn't reliable

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Nothing worse than buying something brand new so it "won't break" and then having it go down.

My BIL has a Korean tractor and it has given him some trouble several times. Thankfully nothing big, but enough trouble that it makes me wonder about the brand.

The price difference over Kubota is appealing though....so I get why people buy them.

I got a message today that the tractor is fixed. I was driving all day for 12 hours so haven’t spoken to them yet. Will update tomorrow.

The tractor has been down for over two weeks, almost three. But I feel fortunate they have it fixed.

It was an unfortunate time, because we finally finished with a side job from over the summer, and I was ready to get to work on the property with the tractor. But that is when break downs happen. Right when you are needing them.

Now I’m away on a vacation to help my daughter’s family move from their current house to their new one. And to hold, hug, and wrestle with the grandchildren. So I won’t be able to use the tractor until next week. LOL

Enjoy those grandkids - that is important time! Do you mind sharing what they found wrong with the tractor?

Just found out a couple minutes ago. Pinched fuel line. :picard: Loader was pinching it just enough. They took the loader off and moved the line so it can’t happen again. I won’t see it until I get home next week. Must been a problem from the factory. Can you say quality control?

Man, that's frustrating! Glad it was something simple, but still... Enjoy your trip!

Hope you have clear sailing now! :handshake:

At least it was something simple that was wrong and not a major repair
Have fun running the chit out of that tractor when you get it back

When I was talking to the dealer that I’m dealing with now I told him that I bought the wrong size tractor. It is too small. Love that it fits under my 8’ garage doors, but several things about it, including the inside the cab, makes me think I should have went with the 494HC or 574HC. And the larger frame and lift capacity would be nice. I asked him if he thought he could sell my tractor if I traded up to bigger size, and that I couldn’t afford to lose much money. He said I can sell your tractor in 15 minutes. LOL He has a hard time getting enough of the 474 and 574. And, after asking me a few questions, he said the price of them has gone up since you bought it. (May) Don’t worry about losing money. So I’m considering the T494HC, T574HC, but also have my eye on the T4058PC. This is the next larger Series frame. Even stronger front axle, loader, nicer cab, suspension seat, etc. upload_2025-10-2_8-7-59.gif

As long as you are happy and the size of the machine will do the work you want then do what is right
