    Went and IMG_9623.jpeg got more Black Locust tonight, got a late start and it’s getting dark earlier now. The loads are adding up.

    Haha the town was in the neighborhood again, about a mile from the black locust on the same road. Between rain drops and darkness I was able to get away and do some cutting. Mostly red maple but some sugar maple in there also. I saw two different guys cutting maple, one yesterday and one today. None cutting the BL though.     From the road BL can look like cotton wood, and there are cottonwood trees in the area. Didn’t fool me though.

    I think we need to go over some wood hoarding rules here. All I have seen in the pictures are a few rounds tossed in the bed. The rules of wood hoarding clearly state that the truck must be full. Full means that every possible space is occupied by wood or wood cutting equipment and that no more wood can be loaded. :p

    Nice score! Get on the locust.
