I'm at home so can't upload a pic. But no , not too heavy . 1 nice big cord of 13" long splits . Mostly on the small side. So the customer's wife can load the stove while he's at work .
Nope, I took the pic from the loading ramp side. The ramp is a Great asset for loading the truck . Skidsteers being AWESOME tools , but not very tall
Thursdays load . Iirc it was 5 , grapple bucket loads for this 1.65 cord load of 8' wood . Ran out of skookums last night when I was bucking and offloading . So I stacked the bed load half cord and went back and bucked it this afternoon .
It’s dwindling pretty low I have another 4 loads already slated for sale, which leaves me with just enough for this year for personal use. I’m in no danger of running out but at the same time I don’t have much extra if someone needs help in the middle of winter.
One of the dilemmas I face with customers buying as needed. Colder Winter they need more. Usually why late season ill list extra half cords for sale. PITA having a tight inventory. Will that TOH/SS wood become firepit fodder customer wood?
Hard to say. If it’s dry by next fall it may likely become my personal shoulder season wood. I’m going to need something for myself sooner than later. All the oak I have needs at minimum another year.
Traded some 2x4's and labor for a load of 2 year old oak, locust. It's going straight into wood shed.
