    Been wanting one of these for a long time. Finally broke down and got one. Attached to a scrap 2x10 it worked well for the frequent sharpening I need to do at my "Disney" score/cut.
    Very handy accessory I highly recommend if you sharpen in the field. Anybody else use one? DSCF0082.JPG

    It's a stump vice not a 2x10 vice!!

    I use an Echo one occasionally for touching up in the woods. It has a large plastic thumbscrew to tighten the clamp, but I like the way yours is made with the sliding rod.

    I have used a stump vice before. They are handy. Don't have one now. I have a few small "C" clamps around. I think I'll fab a vice up to throw in the chainsaw tool kit! Thanks for the post.:salute:

    I wish I bought a double pronged one, but it works good for my needs so far.
