Picked up a couple machines yesterday.....was supposed to be 4, but people are unreliable......

 

Morning all. Overcast again. I think it rained before I got up this morning. Took the dog for a walk. It is time we worked on leash walking and getting over being spooked by new things. I must admit I have been putting it off. We did really well this morning.

Chores again today, maybe some sewing room time.

Sawdust Man I am amazed at how you can work in that kind of weather. I would be a puddle in the corner.

It's horrible.....nevermind what anybody tells you about southern (and eastern) weather.....horrible, horrible, horrible, that's what it is, 8 mouths out of the year.

I certainly don't live here for the weather.

Good morning. We are in the midst of a warm up which hopefully will get me over the line with enough tomato’s to get to 50 + quarts of sauce for the year.

Canning more tomato sauce, habanero pepper jelly, and making some sauerkraut this weekend.

Got to cook some breakfast and get checked in, we got here late but safely. Heading to Knoxville to watch the DAWGS play the other pooches, TN Vols, their mascot Smoky, is a blue tick hound.

Morning all. Overcast with the prospect of rain again today. It showered off and on all day yesterday and probably the same today.

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tender hearted, be courteous; 1 Peter 3:8

We live in a world now that opinions and beliefs become so strong that there is no tolerance for someone else's viewpoint. As individuals, we think and view the world differently from each of our perspective. I am not saying the each of us are adamantly right in our opinions but we are entitled to our own opinions. Jesus taught us the truth as we read in our Bibles. One of those truths is compassion and love. We may not agree with our neighbour, we may think that they are totally off the tracks but we owe them the respect to be able voice their opinions without fear of retaliation and likewise for us to be able to voice our opinions without fear. Agreed to disagreed and go our separate ways. Unfortunately in our world today, love, compassion and respect are being eroded away and violence takes over. Today, take time to read Matthew 5 and reflect on the principles written there.
