What is this concrete pad going to be used for?

    I understand the need for expansion cuts, but having them off-center is odd, to me.

    Not sure what is going on this slab but I have worked with drawings showing cuts placed so equipment mounted on it didn't straddle them.

    If they poured in the crazy heat we had it's possible that it took off fast especially if it was the second pour site from the truck load.

    I've seen a lot worse than that!
    Looks like they planned on it being a problem and made the form easy to strip. Then when it got away they gave up and hit the tavern.

    Ok. Took a half day and went to the lake this afternoon.
    Here's what they did with the pad.

    Something like that. Maybe for the boat cleaning tools? Idk

    They have a beer garden here too. It's a shorty shipping container turned into a bar, but it locks up and has a lot of storage in that.
