Did you know your average gas grill has most if not all the parts to make a crude flamethrower and Napalm can be brewed up with common household products? Used to carry a bottle when I went camping, sometimes dry wood is scarce. It can even be delivered in a shoulder fired rocket launcher,,,,,,,,never actually fired a napalm projectile but that would be easy enough. Don’t get me going, the old days are gone and LE doesn’t look kindly on boys being boys anymore

Split the rest today. Bundle splits in front, general cordage in back. I may start a stack for an outdoor burner who buys a half cord every 12-18 months. Ill move the bundle splits next door over the next few days.
FWIW I saw a little spike buck grazing right where Eric’s tree top fell. Too far to be sure about what exactly he was eating but I’ve been wondering if they might eat those seed clusters, maybe the leaves.Yesterday morning I went out and there was a doe eating right out of the burn pile. Mystery solved deer like something on the Tree of Heaven.
Ive seen deer here eat acorns here. Had one twenty feet away when I came home one time and was shocked it didn't run away. Bent over to eat some and I heard the loud crunch when it chewed.
Collateral damage when trying to get acorns? The way pin oak smells I'd think the leaves would taste terrible!
