We should be able to make more from those Nashvillians than our poor local folks...you know, it's all about the Benjamins......
Yes sir, sure is... We'll teach them how to stack it, as well. Price will go up next time if we have to stack it...time is valuable, ya know...
Hey that's pretty cool that you can combine business with pleasure and treat those poor cash burdened Nashvillians to some premium Georgia hickory in the process! Just make sure you keep an eye on your wheel bearing temps on the trip home, they gonna be taxed hard hauling that stack home! Good thing gas prices are down, eh?!
That is an awesome load of hickory and great bank! Everybody should be delivering to the Nashville area if possible.
Circa is a major score restaurant for you in Thompson’s Station. Above picture is my last delivery to them. They go through about a cord a month.
It touches my heart to see other FHCers trolling my CL ads to view my deliveries and locations! Atlanta has a thriving BBQ/smoking scene, but won't cover my diesel costs for what they pay per face cord.
Well would you look at that........a trailer fully loaded with firewood! Nice to see an image of utilizing all the space on a trailer in this thread. Good job!
What a coincidence. Today was my sister’s birthday and my parents wanted to take the family to lunch today at one of my restaurants. Made reservations about two weeks ago. All six of us hand our gloves at the ready to up unload and stack all that fine GA hickory. We waited around for hours, but gave up and headed home since I have three deliveries for tomorrow to load for.
Jeff, who is the Chef and a partner at Circa is a very good friend of mine. He and I are both big into weight lifting. I would easyily say he is the most fit Chef in the country. I have dropped off my trailer of hickory at his restaurant many times over the past three years and then headed to his gym for a workout. I pasted and sent some GA pulp sellers comments this morning about delivering hickory to him before arriving for Brunch/Lunch. We both got a great laugh about it. He won't for a second buy hickory for his restaurant from a guy that hasn't seen his belt buckle in decades. As you can see, my wife isn't from GA, doesn't weigh more than me, has all her teeth and helps me fill my light trailer loads of $300 a rick firewood. Busy day tomorrow delivering a light load. I would say to where, but don't want some dumbtruck loaded pulp guy doing a midnight run to one of my customers.
When not delivering, cutting or splitting, I enjoy the FHC crowd. I like to play also. Maybe harder than some of you would prefer.
You have me confused with someone else, I do not post much on FB MP. But historically I have no problem selling whatever I post, other than a log splitter cylinder, which I almost prefer not to sell, so if someone wants it, they will pay my fair price, low ballers can buzz off.
Payback is a medivac is a saying in my last line of work. Don’t view this thread if you are weak in the knees and wrists.
