IMG_1612.jpeg #34&35 face cords leaving the wood yard for the month tomorrow morning. My special order of 20” white oak and cherry (1&1/4 face cords) is stacked and leaving next week for four Benjamins. I raised my prices to every one including my restaurants to $300 a face cord this month because I am overwhelmed and tired of 12 hour days seven days a week. Unfortunately, didn’t loose any customers. IMG_1608.jpeg IMG_1609.jpeg IMG_1610.jpeg

Like starting off a month with cord deliveries. This dude owns not one, or two vehicle dealerships, but three. Whatever, he burns my firewood like crazy in his two outside fireplaces and pits. $900 for over 60 wheelbarrow trips to his two places.

IMG_1622.jpeg No slow down in Middle TN for firewood sales. No deliveries for today, but added $900 to the woodyard. Another seller that services two dozen restaurants wanted to purchased hickory from me yesterday. I sell it for $80 more a facecord than he does. How is that supposed to work out? If you want to make a living off of firewood you better have a seasoned inventory. And cut and split everyday.

I will agree that cutting splitting just about every day is necessary if you really want to make a go of it.

Believe my current seasoned inventory will get me into June of next year. So have been focusing on cutting and will split and stack when breaks in deliveries happen.

Well, we have expanded our business...I have a cousin that lives in Mt Juliet. We visited him recently, we wanted to check out a great BBQ place, wound up south of Nashville in the Thompson Station area. After doing some talking and showing some pictures of our awesome and perfect hickory, they decided they would try a full cord. We added extra, gonna get 10 Benjamins for this load. Glad we can visit my cousin and make $$$ doing it...just got to tarp it and leave early in the AM. Delivery on Sunday. Maybe yall can guess the name...it means "around or about a certain time" 0401212242.jpg
Should be able to make a delivery every couple/3 months...

That sure is one perfect load! Drive safe, and I hope you have enough room in the trailer on the way back for that heavy stack of Benjamins you’ll be hauling home :)

    A cord +...
From our house to 1549 Thompson's Station Rd W, Thompson's Station, TN 37179 is about 360 miles. But we get to visit my cousin at the same time, so we don't have to pay for hotel.
