    Just got a shagbark from the wife's grandpa. He had it removed by the city. Have never burned any of it what it like to burn? The only hickory I know is the chunks I put into the smoker.

    Uncle neighbor is getting 2 taken down today as well. BL & red maple. They were toped 2 yrs ago and never made it. (I knew better, but not gonna argue) At least there will be no limbs to mess with. This should be the start of 16-17 wood!
