    The earliest/bottom flowers have started to lose their petals. But, the scent fills the area.

    One of the Rose of Sharon that I gave to a friend (from MikeInMa ). The other one about 10' away isn't blooming (I didn't check for buds). The non-blooming one gets more shade, so that is probably why.

    My RoS are starting to boom. I trimmed them pretty heavily this spring and they took awhile to get going.

    They have alot of blooms provided this lack of rain doesn't mess with them.

    One RoS had a few blooms open up. I had checked on Thursday, thinking the rain Wednesday night might have triggered them, but there was nothing to see and then yesterday, like magic, there they were.
