and Jeffrey Svoboda mine come to Cheyenne, then denver, then similar zip in California then back again. I lost 30 tropical fish in one of those several years ago. More might have survived but the post office here apparently did not know to "hold for pickup, live fish"

A bit irked and embaressed , school bus dept called to confirm times with me but she kept saying "pick up time is 6:25 am at your regular stop. Huh? I checked no morning pickup for pickup on transportation nor registration since WWW usually drops her off at the school. When we do need morning bus we drive a mile or so down the road to another family morning pick up house. The lady was talking loud and quick and kept saying "this is EVA!" loud enough I could not respond with voice. Kiddo heard it, ran out and talked to her and said yes, they seemed happy to talk to eachother. :picard: It was Miss Eva, the bus aide that also happens to be a member of the church kiddo's been going to. I knew who Miss Eva was there but an older woman, the lady on the phone sounded much younger and louder :emb:

Right? I had a work credit card stuck in Kentucky for 4 weeks after leaving Ontario Canada. UPS gave up. I called the card company and they got me a replacement to the replacement card literally the next day

I golfed 18 holes yesterday with a supplier. As I get better, I have more fun golfing. Some nice trees on the old course I played on yesterday. Target fixation had me drill this huge poplar tree directly in center mass. That was pretty funny actually.

Prior to starting the shop remodel I had about 20 pieces of 1"x14"x30" OSB from a shipping crate for a machine at work. I let them sit in the shop for YEARS then finally decided to burn them instead of move them 5 more times. As luck would have it, today I need a couple of them to make a shelf to set the new shop heater on. Grr.

I'm not a great golfer at all. 92 lowest score ever. I hit so many trees. I figure i should aim for them since the ball never goes where i want anyway.

I'm the most bi-polar golfer you'll ever see. My shots are either beautiful or trash...with almost nothing in between. I only play once or twice a year anymore.

There's a problem with those loads. They aren't going to my house.

Obviously taken from the side mirror of your truck but what's up with the mirror on the back of your truck?

Doesn't look connected but seams too close to be from a vehicle passing by.

Any advice on changing 300K spark plugs? He said he bought penetrating oil and was shocked the set was $125. He's irked too, since he bought it as a company truck he has the dealer do all the service. Now they refuse to change plugs with so many miles, why didn't they change them at 150K? Anyway he's worried about breaking them off.

That's a lot of miles on one set of plugs.

I know, he didn't realize they'd never been changed to asked at last appt when they refused. Afraid his truck won't start in the morning when the weather cools off.

300k plugs!?!?! :bug: I'd recommend an impact or electric drill, should speed things up significantly.

    In all seriousness,

Plugs have a sealing washer to the cylinder head. So penetrating fluid will do little unless you can "crack" the plug a little or loosen it ever so slightly to allow the oil to seep past the sealing washer and into the threads.

I think getting the engine good and warm might help with this. Wouldn't recommend removing the plugs hot as you chance pulling aluminum threads outta the head with the plug. Almost as bad as a broken one....

If it's a Ford modular engine probably just leave them alone and not risk breaking one off.

2014 Chevy Silverado 2500, said the spark is like a needle instead of the 90* angle ones he and I both know.

Oh boy, he thought cool metal that was shrunk, not warm and expanded?

Oh it's probably a fine line of what can be done with a warm engine. For an inexperienced person, a cold engine is best.

Here's an another idea. 1/4 turn them cold, spray them and let sit overnight. Then work them back and forth taking time to get each plug out.

He's not inexperienced, but does not know newer engines and needle plugs.

Im not too sure I'd worry much with a 6.0l vs a modular Ford.
