Maybe a shed?? I heard they will start renting kayaks at this park. Would make sense that they need to be able to store them.

The PVC pipes are throwing me off though.

I didn’t look closely until others mentioned it, but holy cow that thing is rough! Reckon one of those boat launch geniuses you see on the videos backed their trailer over it after it was poured? LOL

I've seen guys do that when there was a lot more "clean out" concrete from some other project than was expected, so "hey let's throw up a "form" and we'll have a pad here"
Dad kinda did that when they poured the floor in his new shop when I was a kid...had plenty so they "poured" it into a rectangular shaped hole quickly dug by hand, and finished with the same shovel...ugly as heck, but it's still very functional as the pad right outside the man door there! (and it's not cracked!)

If it was here in CT that would be a pad for a shack where some government employee would sit so he could check boat/vehicle registration, boater's licenses and fishing licenses.

What gets me is what humans did 5000 years ago is far more complex than this and now people accept this BS. Even worse, most don’t blink an eye at it.

Might it be an invasive species cleaning station?

And I do not see any impalement safety guards on the rebar.

No. There's not many fish in the lake. I mean there's some, but it's not known to be a great lake to fish on. They don't have fish cleaning stations at any of the other inland lakes around here. On lake Michigan, sure.

Seriously though, what's the PVC for? There's no drains or water supply, no power around for several hundred yards.

That seams to be the real question, that'll probably answer the original. :sherlock:

You're probably right about a kayak/canoe rental shed. Not sure it's big enough to store many. Around here they get a shipping container or just leave em out.

Maybe the PVC is so they can monitor the water table?
