    Having a cold drink on a hot day with a few friends is nice, but having a hot friend on a cold night after a few drinks - PRICELESS.

    Arguing over a girl's bust size is like choosing between Molson, Heineken, Carlsberg, & Budweiser. Men may state their preferences, but will grab whatever is available.

    A recent study found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

    Years ago a fellow was holding the tiller of a small boat and listening to an old sailor telling his story. He became so absorbed in what the old sailor was saying because the old sailor suddenly asked him to be more careful with the steering.

    “But the following wind is favourable,” he said. The old sailor smiled and said, “It is for just that reason that the danger of going off course is so great.” How right he was! How many times in life we see people veering off course at the moment of success. So, remember the wise words of the old sailor.

    Religious faith is not a storm cellar to which men can flee for refuge from the storms of life. It is, instead, an inner spiritual strength that enables them to face those storms with hope. Regious faith has the miraculous power to lift ordinary human beings to greatness even in times of stress. Religious faith is to be found in the promises of God. Those promises have been handed down for a couple thousand years and we have access to God’s words daily. One of the best parts is that he has made some fabulous promises! Too many look at religious as a list of, “don’t do this and don’t do that. And also some like to preach how bad we are and we’re on the road to Hell.” It does not have to be that way at all. It is spelled out in the Bible but unfortunately, very few ever read the Bible. I’ve found through the years that almost everyone who goes to church on a regular basis and some have the “Holier than thou” attitude, but still really don’t know much at all about the Bible. Oh they know a couple verses or what the preacher says, but that is like going to a beach and dipping one’s toes in the water and saying you can swim. It does make one wonder if the Bible is ever read at home.

    It is not what is right that is important; it’s what’s right.

    The person who won’t stand for something will fall for anything.

    Tell the truth and tell it ever, cost what it will;
    For he who hides the wrong he did, does the wrong thing still.

    Your children more attention pay, to what you do than what you say.

    If you set the example, most times you will not have to set the rules.

    It’s alright to get down. Just don’t get down on yourself.

    When you work for someone. Work for them all the way.

    When you are in something, get in all the way and if you can’t get all the way in, get all the way out.

    Remember that you will treat someone as you see them.

    A woman’s dress should be like a barbed wire fence: serving its purpose without disrupting the view. Sophia Loren
