Probably because I worked the off season volume sales. I include small chain saw work I do in those numbers. With the guy I cut PT for if helps too. Im trying to set up customers to take loads of green wood so I don't have to stack and dry it. A couple volume burners has helped as 75% of my customers don't buy in volume.

I grew up in the south. 117 is the warmest I remember working in. No thanks. I like snow and the cold.

It's been a wild ride. I am so glad he talked me into the madness. I do like me a good rabbit hole. I seem to find a way to talk my wife into letting me buy some kind of toy err tool every so often.

Is there a processor in your future? The amount of cords you do amaze me, keep up the good work.

If it’s over 16” diameter yes, the top 2 pieces will need it the bottom 2 are fine. I will try and get a pic. Thankfully Monday’s 4 cord delivery said just quarter them.

I’ve thought about the processor route but I’m afraid I won’t get a steady enough supply of poles. Then what?

Great question, that would be a challenge. What’s been your past experience with the amount of logs that a processor can run? I buy logs by the semi load. There is no tree service or that kind of wood around me to utilize for hundreds of miles. My only current tree is white spruce, it looks like telephone poles piled up. Do I remember correctly that you are able to utilize tree service wood? If you ever want to chat about processors. I did a ton of research and talked to the manufacturers. I’m pretty up to date on what’s what.

    Show-off. LOL

    That thing looks amazing.

My ruggedsplit ( yeah I know , just a little homeowner's splitter that I keep with my MS170) does sort of the same thing. If that's the biggest problem, then just keep splitting.

    "Really nice machine" !!

Thank you sir! We are blessed to have it. It sure does make things easier in the wood yard. So far 43 cords made with it in 16 days and have 33 hours on the machine. I try and make sure I split per what the customer wants.

Anything of the machine in action. I enjoyed watching the one where I cut part time last February. Older machine but same principal.
