I'm going to throw out a bone to chew on. I submit that if the medical/pharma communities could make more money curing cancer, migraines, the common cold, etc they would have done it already, rather than stringing people along with half as$ed temporary relief which pays them millions if not billions annually.

Had to search this post up. USPS is the worst around here. Currently waiting on a package. Here's the status tonight. Not sure how it arrived in Grand Rapids 3 times now but never left?

Then here's the last package I waited on. Went between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo several times before coming up me. (If you start at the bottom of the second picture and work your way up it should be in the correct order.)

Lol, that is where the soaking comes in. He'll load dishes up, run the washer, but 1/2 or most come out dirty. So I unload the clean ones, actually mostly kiddo does the putting away and soak the ones that did not come clean and wash by hand. That said he started helping with dishes a year or so ago when I fell off from doing it as often. Chvymn99 said a long time ago he just washes and bypasses the new crappy dishwashers, and that's where I'm at now. I'm just not able to them every day now and the cycle repeats.

John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia.

After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, "Are these plates clean?"

His grandfather replied, "They're as clean as cold water can get them. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!"

For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked, "Are you sure these plates are clean?"

Without looking up the old man said, "I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want to hear another word about it!"

Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass. John yelled and said, "Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car".

Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV the old man shouted ...

    "COLDWATER, GO LAY DOWN

The last time that happened to me a label had to be replaced on the package. Apparently at some point someone who gave a fudge had a clue what was going on. Or not going on as the case may be. Bar codes are great until they don't work or work right.

That is perhaps part of it.

No doubt! To add to it, in that package were some dirt bike parts I needed before going on a trip. Normally I can order from this company on Sunday night and have it here on Wednesday afternoon, if shipped FedEx. Luckily I got the package a day before I left town (sat) but not before I called the post office and had a nice little convo with the lady there.

Boy, that's a shocker, talking to people at the USPS office is usually less productive than talking to the wall.

It is quite obvious most don't give a poop. They are overpaid and have job security so whatever happens.

Without getting into to many details, I'll try to add to this.

Buchanan is a small town PO. Niles is the main one. I called Buchanan to start and she said she couldn't help and that I would need to call Niles. She couldn't transfer my call but gave me a number. When no one picked up after calling the number several times and letting it ring 10+ times, each call, I called Buchanan back and explained. Well, low and behold she could help me now. She actually admitted calling Niles post master to get an answer for me. Now why she couldn't do that to start, I'll never understand. :hair:

They definitely won't quit with getting that government check after retirement. :headbang:

I was going to say, our post office has not picked up a call since I moved here in 2013.

Mom turns 58 today. Took her to Ferryland Lighthouse and a nearby restaurant.
