    No, thankfully the rod floated to the surface after the line snapped! That saved me a few Benjamin’s.

    lol! Yeah in was in the swivel holder on a leash!
    When the rod snapped my buddy thought the rod holder got ripped off the side of the boat.

    99% sure it was a Thresher shark, I though it was played out so I cranked up the lever drag to get it beside the boat to harpoon it. Well it was still very much alive and took a hard turn under the boat and ran, that was that.

    IMG_5024.jpeg Driver reported the brakes were hanging up on the pusher axle, when I slid under to take a look I found the Grand Canyon!

    It cracked for a reason. Have to figure out why. My guess would be a load on the lower flange…

    I didn’t take any other pics but the rust between the double frame expands and pushes the two apart. The way the truck is (ab)used plays a big role as well.
