Kyosho started re-releasing a bunch of their most popular cars from the 80's and 90's. I currently have 2 of them. One is built but needs paint and electronics installed and the other is still in the box.
I concur. Tamiya, Kyosho, Team associated and Schumacher are all offering new vintage cars. Search those brands on amain hobbies and you will recognize them.
Plus, I found a chassis builder for thr rock crawler I plan on getting. It will look like this once completed.
Whos chassis is that. That is very cool. Now you have the wheels turning , I wonder if my fab skills are up to something like that. Need to find out tube diameter and see what I can do.
He's a custom builder out of TN. He's a trailer fabricator by trade at a trailer manufacturer plus he builds real and RC crawler / bouncer chassis. He also competes in full size and rc crawling events. His Name is Travis Vance.
Finally getting around to finishing up this buggy. Currently adding all the electronics. I need to solder the motor leads to the motor yet as well as solder a plug for the battery. After that, add the receiver and get her rolling. I also went through the Kyosho upgrade list fir this car, purchased several of them and swapped them out.
another rabbit hole to play in. bad enough the RC Planes, chain saws ,machine tools , Scotch ( gave that one up ), and the shooting sports.
Right behind you guys. Egg , I'll bet that thing rips compared what they had years ago. Looks Great!!
Thanks bud. Im sure it will considering I put a brushless system in it. I love the fact that Kyosho has re-released their vintage race buggies but updated them to withstand modern power.
