Shop work and other stuff.
We finished insulating the crawl space yesterday, seems like it's definitely going to help maintain cooler temps in the house.

Morning all. Overcast with mist this morning. Should burn off quickly.

Got the church lawn mowed yesterday. If we don't get any rain in the next little while, it might be the last mowing for awhile. I never thought we would be looking for it to rain a day or so here. Apparently while we were gone all last summer, it was much wetter than this year. Our lawn mower was pretty regular at every two weeks.
Bookkeeping, chores and sewing is planned for today.
Watched the first part of the Blue Jays game and didn't find out the ending until quite a bit later. yeah team! We enjoyed watching Blue Jays in 30 last night.

Hard to believe that wonderful trip is already a 1 yr old memory. Seems like just last month we were following along on the journey.

May work on the woodyard this morning, Miz Carol got a call from our daughter @1AM, a couple of her incisions that were glued together opened up and was draining/bleeding some. They started back to hospital and was told to come to Dr's office today......this rush through surgery is ...crazy insurance companies wants to dictate health care......

A miserable day ahead. 68⁰/94⁰ dewpt mid-70's. Heat index >100. A cold front comes through later this afternoon. Some needed rain would be nice.

I need to get the ladder out. I noticed a couple of gutter overflows, the last time it rained. Just some collected debris, I'm sure.

We might head to my SIL's for cards tonight.

Yes, it does seem like it was yesterday. We had perfect weather for the trip last year compared to what people back east are going through this summer.

 

Morning all. Late start this morning as I had a few things to deal with first thing. Woke up to sunshine with a few clouds around. Sounds like we might get showers today and tomorrow.

Chores today and some cooking for tomorrow. What about those Blue Jays!!! It was quite a game last night.

The heat and humidity broke when a couple rounds of rain came through yesterday, with some thunder. 66⁰/85⁰.

We had a nice evening at my SIL's.

I'll go have a visit with mom this morning. Then, a quick grocery stop.
