Anyone with a working knowledge? I’m wondering how hard it is to get parts? Seeing this tractor and I’m in the market for something small. ATV is giving me fits with the computer stuff and I’m looking to supplement it with something durable, ready to go when I am. Asking 5 grand but dual agg tires and 4wd,,,,,sexy. Has a diesel Mitsubishi engine which can be problematic to get parts for,,,, I think.
That looks nice. I was under the impression that the Mitsubishi was a pretty common engine that was used in a lot of equipment , but I could be wrong. It looks like it could be a perfect candidate for your application. Boy that building in the background sure looks like a dealer close to me.
May as well add this here. Same question about Case Ingersoll tractors. Found a guy near me that is infatuated and sells them. Good to have a mechanic and parts supplier nearby. But dang he loves them so much the prices reflect that.
G&H Equipment and sales. Ring a bell? A quick internet search says Mitsubishi no longer makes parts for these engines. Looks in nice shape but that’s a fairly old tractor.
I don't do face book so I can't help , however maybe a drive-by after work is in order. LOL Now I am really curious if my hunch was correct.
Any opinion on them? I think this is just a trade in they’re looking to flip. Future service,,,,,,ahh not so much, just a guess.
I guarantee you are right on it being a trade in , I know they do their fair share of reselling equipment that was traded in. They are fine as a dealer ( I guess as good as any dealer) and have been there for years. They might be a little flexible on price if paying cash , I say this because a friend bought a used ZT mower from them and cash got him a pretty decent price break. Gerrard is probably the one down there to talk to.
Even if they don't have new parts for that engine anymore, many times those lil 2-3 cylinder diesels were used in lots of different applications and you can often pick up old none running machines for spare parts fairly cheap. As for the rest of the machine, dunno...
Are you sure it has a Mitsubishi motor? I see the side of the hood says " Iseki" , that is who's engine is in my subcompact Massy so they are still out there if that's the case?
Having owned 3 of the case / ingersoll tractor, one of which I did a complete bare frame resto on, I would hands down prefer that Bolens tractor. I believe the were made by Iseki or something like that in Japan. I'll investigate.
List of tractors built by Iseki for other companies Looks like Iseki made the tractor but used either perkins, Mitsubishi, Iseki or Isuzu engines depending on the model.
A quick search on tractor forums indicates that parts are nearly impossible to find for any of the early Iseki built tractors. What a bummer.
