Gladwiniolas 2025

signs of the first stock of gladiolus. I've planted over 200 bulbs this spring. Let's see what shows up.

 

Planted 30 here; half are up so far.

Nowhere near as nice as yours are looking though.

Looks like yellow wins again to be the first to come out

 

It's odd that I've planted eight different colors and mostly the yellows came out first

 

Truckaa They are looking gorgeous. Up here they get beaten down by the rain.

 

I put a stake to every one. Although they haven't been in bloom during this rain yet

 

I was reading where if you planted them in 5 bulb groupings, they tend to help each other stay upright

 

Sounds interesting. I'll try that next year

 

Still mostly yellows are the ones that are blooming starting to see a little of the color

 

Nice flower garden. I think I see some yucca in the background. We have it growing around here in places

I said I was retired but I think I've got a new job called a full-time weeder

 

What kind of flag is that?

 

It looks like a pride flag but the colors are in the wrong order.

 

Its a flag honoring various services.

Blue - law enforcement
Red - fire fighters
Green - military.
