Old friend saw me on the way by in his MetEd truck(our electric supplier). He said those sub stations all over the place are in the same condition, older and not able to handle what’s being asked of it. Lots of new developments and no upgrades to meet demand, which is off the charts. He told me they are bringing in huge mobile generators to get us back up till this one can be redone. It’s trashed.

About 1/4" of rain overnight but temps stayed in the 60's for low. Windows open 9until it rained) cooled the house to low 70's.

We have gone from relentless rain to very dry in about a week.

We didn't get that low but the high temp of 70 was welcome. That temp didn't hit until late afternoon.

Hot and rain. Lots of it!! We're in a pattern where around 4 pm thr storms roll in and then it pours. Ground is so soft. Flooded my chicken run, cant process any firewood, some garden plants flattened, stones all over the roads, etc... Though Im complaining, I know we're fortunate compared to other areas, but still this weather pattern sucks.

Us too. I'd rather see snow than this hot weather.

Tons of rain yesterday!. Some places had over 6.5" in a few hours, my rain gauge said 5.5". I haven't seen any damage on our property, but flooding was bad.

My buddy had a water rescue in the meadow in front of his house, when some guy tried to drive his truck through flood waters. Took him about 60 yards off the road and luckily he got stuck in the field.
