It was. I was a dumb azz for selling it. I had a ton of upgrades in not long after that new from the box picture. Many I ordered directly from Germany.

The big monster is up and running. I'll try to get a video soon. With it being a stick radio, I'll have to have my better 1/2 do the filming. I have about $100 invested into the resurrection. A battery and the speed control. Till then, on too the next one. Probably that boat.

 

Update....

I ground out the cracks in the boat hull and the crushed tip off one sponson. Filled with JB weld. Let set since last week. Today I shaped and smoothed everything. I started sanding the whole hull as well. I'll need to remove all the hardware from the transom before I can finish it up. I already have paint for it. More later.

 

I'm no bodyman but I'm satisfied so far. After this cures I'm taping off the bottom along a hull line then painting the top with this.

 

After all that cures I'm spraying the entire boat with a clear coat that has pearl in it.

Hurry up and cure!!! Lol. Im soooo impatient with painting. Probably why I always end up with a run or some other blemishes.
