    I've spent the last 1.5 hours getting stuff together for a financial planning meeting I have coming up on Monday. Early mornings weren't made for working on this type of serious stuff - but no time of day is. If I had left it for "later", I would have been scrambling on the morning of the meeting. I hate scrambling and feeling like I'm not prepared. Not to mention, Mr. Murphy has that habit of showing up at the most inopportune time.

    I have a tendency to procrastinate on things like that and I pay for it. I feel a lot better if I get it done ahead of time then there is time for revision if I remember something that needs adding or tweaking.

    Super busy day. Got the goat pen moved again, put up 100 bales in the loft, tilled and weeded the garden, cleaned the barn, sprayed the white rock, and probably a few other things.

    About to make dinner and enjoy the AC.

    Wiring lights and fans tomorrow before it gets too hot.

    :confused: Uninvited guests showed up tonight, caught WWW off guard and wanted to do fireworks in our driveway/road and WWW accomidated :picard:. UM, I told him earlier I'm not feeling well, no thank you, we won't be joining you at the ramp to see your fireworks. Instead they show up here late ?!? And the one teen boy likes to hang all over my kiddo, get off her! (he's liked her for several years). I'm in the middle of a movie and all I hear is fireworks now :headbang:

    The big parties with tons of people and fireworks happens on Saturday nights here, not tonight. :zip:

    We used to have a large group gather in a field a bit over 1/2 mile from us and blow fireworks for weeks every summer. It was amazing how many and how many times they did it. We often wondered how much money was wasted on this. The land was finally sold so now it is once again quiet here.
