We stayed at KOA campgrounds a lot as we traveled across Canada. Very consistent in standards.

Yes. My natural wake up time is somewhere between 1:30 and 2:30. Usually it is 2 am. A couple times last week it was 12:30am. And when I say "wake up", that is the time I actually get up. The days I got up at 12:30am, I had been awake for 30-60 minutes before I gave up. Cats always get fed at 3:30am.

I don't use an alarm - haven't used one in at least 5 years. Well, that's not true, I set an alarm if I have to be on the road to catch a 5:15 am flight to go to see family in KS (it is an hour trip to get to the airport), but I don't really need it - just insurance.

It surprises me when people respond to a post I just made - usually the sane part of the world is snuggly in bed and hopefully dreaming of good things.

We all have our own internal clocks and alarms which is fine. My internal clock alarm won't even recognize those hours! I started to fall asleep just reading your post. I can be a fairly early riser but you are certainly Olympic Class!:salute::tip:

Interesting. I hear a lot of people tend to go away from KOA's. I suppose there's pros and cons to everything though

Sprayed some weed killer first, then rinsed out the stihl sr 200 I picked up and next, sprayed some insecticide (bifenthrin) yesterday.

I got mixed up in poison ivy again this summer!

Spraying for the bugs seemed to help immediately, but maybe too soon for results. I went out with the dogs just after sunset and didn't run into a single mosquito! Heck, I even managed to sit out on the front deck without any intrusions!

Also, got the yard all mowed and ready for company to show up this afternoon/evening. It's gonna be a late supper here.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I went swimming yesterday!

The dogs went nuts as they didn't know what to make of it. I jumped off the end of the dock and was lost completely to their sight for a few moments.....then, only my head reappeared for them to bark frantically at!

I thought the lab mix would have joined me but it was wavy and the bernese was pretty much keeping the lab mix away from the water.

I usually jump in with a bar of ivory soap and take a quick lather to get rid of some sweat at the same time. I bought a 4-pack of ivory the other day.

Is everyone aware that ivory soap does not float anymore? What a let down (see what I did there?) Heck, it's not even made in US any longer!

Well, it's advertised on the label, so.....I guess so.

Although the bar I used is no longer that pure as there is some sand/dirt attached to the bar of soap now! (after it sank to the bottom of the lake!)

Boy the black raspberries have really been going strong this year! I'm getting tired of picking (read: nourishing the skeeters) and they are nowhere near done yet!

Yours are way ahead of ours. We have lots and get a few. Deer, coons and birds are really hungry critters.
