IMG_0024.jpeg IMG_0025.jpeg image.jpg So I posted an ad on Chipdrop yesterday to get mulch for my ma cause she asked so I figured I might as well say I’ll take logs too. Well this just got dropped off this morning. Majority looks like red oak with only a couple pieces of slippery elm sprinkled in

Quickest Chipdrop response ever, I think. Great score!

That's amazing. Hope you have a lot of room available for future drops. Any mulch yet?

image.jpg Here is the mulch about 20 yards
I usually get all my wood off of FB so this may be the way to go! Honestly tho I’m kinda scared to get a load like that of some BS wood:rofl:
The mulch showed up about an hour or 2 after the logs from the same people. Will post pic when I get home. It is full of leaves and what not obviously but my ma don’t care she just wants it to put in the park in the subdivision so worked out perfectly

    So cool! Great scores!

I’m surprised there hasn’t been other ways of connecting tree services with people who want wood. Then again, not everyone hoards like us.

But it would be cool to have more options to get wood that tree services or municipalities don’t have a need for the rounds/logs.

Got everything bucked and some pieces noodled. Going to borrow my buddies splitter for the weekend just to get this done instead of splitting by hand like I usually do image.jpg

IMG_0033.jpeg IMG_0031.jpeg IMG_0030.jpeg Well I got it all split which was a chore lol but now I have a mountain of oak wood. The pictures don’t do it justice but the one has me in front of it for comparison and I’m 6’3” so it’s pretty big pile. Now I gotta suck it up and stack all this and I hate stacking :picard:

That's the FHC spirit! :salute: Impressive pile of splits. Cant blame you for using a hydro.

I hear you on the stacking part. Have a few hanging around I gotta get to unless you're feeling ambitious and wouldn't mind giving me a hand? :D :stacker:

Thats funny. Rather than do it all at once I'll do a little each time I'm at the woodyard. Trying to sell some so I don't have to stack it.

I call it subcontracting
I have to stack this as it’s in my new dumping space. I plan on getting a load or 2 more so I can sell em

It was my first time using Chipdrop and I got both the deliveries within 24 hours but my buddy who let me use the splitter asked that I get him a chip drop for letting me use the splitter so I’ll let you know how long he has to wait

I can't complain, that first log drop from chip drop was Honey locust. Quite a bit of it too. . It just took so long that I forgot that I had an open request.
