She is doing better. She is getting the hang of using the scooter. I have to take her to work and stay with her because she packs orders and most of the inventory is upstairs or in a building next door. She is only working a couple hours a day now because her leg gets sore and she has to put it up. I don’t get as much done as I would like to, but that’s how it goes. Our son is going to get his permit this week or next so he can take her to work and I can get stuff done at home.

We put some of her homemade comfrey salve on her foot and she said it feels better. I broke a bone in the top of my foot a few years ago and she used her salve on it and I was up and walking normally in less than a week, but I don’t know how bad it was broken, just that it was because I heard the crack and it turned purple and hurt like hell.

She has an appointment with a pediatrist on Tues, and they will probably take more xrays, so we will see how it is doing then. It is a jones fracture, so we are hoping it doesn’t need surgery.

I am trying to get this trailer done so I can get some scrap hauled, get hay, and wood that my brother was supposed to help me get before he bailed for his girlfriend from 22 years ago. *sigh* It was crazy enough when he bailed, and bow with her broken foot, its just that much worse.

Oh man, not good. Just got off a knee scooter I ad for months. Speedy and painless recovery. I promise it might be pair free but not free of frustration.

Hopefully your wife will recover quickly.

Once my wife broke the top of her foot when a 2 pound of frozen venison fell out of the freezer on to it.
    Guess who's fault that was...:heidi:

    Heal well Mrs Carlson! :pain:

My wife is scheduled for hip surgery in August, they say she'll be 6-8 weeks "non weight bearing" on that side...neither of us is looking forward to the recovery period...we use all 3 floors of our home every day! This ought to be interesting... hopefully it works, doc gives it an 80% chance of being successful, the only alternative is a hip replacement, which at less than 50 YO, nobody wants to do, except as last resort.

Should be the deer's fault for exposing himself like that to get shot!
