A co worker tapped out today because he was pizzing blood. Might have something else going on, but the heat doesn’t help. A strange coincidence, but I saw the same guy last Friday morning when Jeff and I stopped for breakfast somewhere in Va on our way to Altoona. He was going fishing.

Can't make this stuff up, this is the temp under the overhang. Now, I'm sure it traps some heat but the outer Thermometor said 104º o_O:eek:

It will trap a lot more heat than you think. The overhang for my back porch, with the curtains on the east side (N & S sides open, which is where any breeze comes thru), is consistently 4-6* hotter than the the probe that is in the general outdoors. That is in the afternoon, when the sun is on the other side of the house. During late morning hours, it can be 10* hotter there (or not, depends on if there is a breeze). The only days this isn't true during summer, are those days that the clouds are so dark you can't tell where the sun is - in other words, most of May and the first 10 days of June this year. At night, both probes will read the same, or within 1* of each other (depends on wind).

Yesterday was "nice" as I think the high outside (not on my porch) was 93-94* and the humidity was not as bad as it had been. It was supposed to get down in the low 60s this morning, but clouds rolled in and it is currently 72*, so I'm doubting it will get down there until after the sun comes up. It is warmer than the high for the day is supposed to be.

This was yesterday afternoon 20250625_141333.jpg North of Pittsburgh. This is ridiculous. But the pool water is about 89°. Had a storm pass through yesterday and it dropped the temperature about 15°.
