It’s oppressive here as well. No relief in sight atm.

 

94 here atm. I split about half a cord of Pecan. Changed gears and decided to pull a few sections of fence before shutting down. I would not be doing anything in full sun.

Where we topped out at today. I have o my seen it hit 103 one other time. Dewpoint is upper 70’s.

 

Can't like that. We're about 10° cooler today.

 

We had 2 concrete sidewalk pieces buckle at work from the heat . I'll see if I can get a picture tomorrow. I didn't take a picture as I was leaving work
Just wanted to go home.

 

8:55pm we lost electricity.

 

Ooph, I saw this morning that Duke Energy wants folks to conserve energy. Apparently they don’t know what happens during a heat wave. It will give them excuse to raise rates.

 

3 days in a row of over 100. I don’t remember the last time that happened. Heck my pool even hit 95!

 

Our pool is hanging at 86-88 we've been in the high 90's
