41FanForLife , here's a picture of one of the hd baggers mid corner That's a lot of lean angle. Lot of money spent to be able to get that bike to be able to do that. Notice the remote reservoir shocks in back? Those are probably 2500 a piece. Wyman-BJN-BJNC1626_P_1748728904-e1748728959884-1024x512.jpg

My wife said we don't need any of that fancy stuff. Would be cool to take one of those for a spin.

I just pulled a couple of cubic feet of stinging nettles off of my neighbor's yard that were also growing into my yard. He's too lazy to do it, so I simply did it. No this isn't that neighbor. He has no adjoining property with mine. This guy is just lazy. Coincidentally, I also uncovered his 2 clumps of ornamental grass that he planted there years ago. So hopefully that grass takes off now.

He's welcome, and I'm happy it's gone. This is the same patch of stinging nettles that smacked me in the face last year mowing the lawn. That was not very good feeling. So I am not allowing that to happen again.

4:15 am on my motorcycle ride into work and a button buck decided he wanted to ride with me. Lower right leg sore. Bike needs a front fender, lower fairing, upper inner and outer fairing and a windshield. Just happy that I didn't crash and lay it down when he ran into the side of me. 7695e5bf-b63d-4136-8ec7-e21d53c65145.jpg 20250604_041307.jpg

Considering all the possibilities that is a a good outcome! Well the deer has a different perspective.

    X2!
But I'm not so sure the parts listed equal "not too much damage", those pieces will likely be pricey.
I recall a customer at the bike shop that had the same thing happen, killed the deer, and he never went down...did total the bike though, just due to parts cost...it didn't look "totaled" by any means...heck he rode it in, fur still hanging off it and all!

Crazy! Glad you're all right, minus a sore leg! That's minimal damage at least.

Ouch! A terrible thing but you are a very lucky man when you consider what could have happened.
