Just a quick intro, I like everything that uses fuel and oil. I have a 30x40 shop I lease it's full of air compressor projects and man stuff. I collect vintage tools and have at least 16 toolboxes in the shop.

Cool! I didn't know if it was compressors or stuff made with pneumatics. I got a Quincy last year, not anywhere near that big.

A little power re-distribution for the phase converter (30hp).

My names David, I got addicted to burning and cutting firewood when I was growing up in Ohio/Indiana. Now I live in Georgia with my wife and our two kids. I have nothing but a prefab at the moment but still keep 4-5 cords on hand at all times. Wife thinks I'm a little crazy (i've shared with her pictures from y'all so I seem more sane :) ) but I know one day she'll break down and approve the freestander or a rip-out and replace of the prefab junk we have.

Anyway, great to be here and talk about all those things with y'all.

Hi my name is Steve.. and I'm a Woodaholic.

Grew up in Maine burning wood and eased my way down south. Found it still got cold here in Alabama and hated filling my propane tank - so I decided to turn all the trees around me into fuel.
I was on vacation when I finally searched out and found this new place with old faces.
Decided to keep my old trusty internet handle as many here have - keeps the covo flowing.

joined up saturday. got turned on to this site by nixon (not the tricky variety). just a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy. live in the aux arcs, heat with wood with an old kodiak insert. got a good wife, 3 kids, 6 grandkids, 4 dogs, 1 cat, buncha saws. lookin to convert my rv barn (it was there when i bought the place) into my workshop (any advice would be gladly accepted). so far i really like this site. used to be a member on another site but got so strung out with the joneses cause i couldn't get my fix i decided to start exploring other universes. this appears to be a universe that will support intelligent (semi?) life forms. go forth and conquer. just sayin.
