Thanks for the kind words. I don't have much choice here on this property unless I wanna stack in the middle of the yard.... I don't wanna mow around em so I stack 1 single row next to the driveway. Once that stack is complete there will be 73x4.5 ft, of row, stacked.

Only reason I asked was cause I put together a couple boards myself from some wood flooring cutoffs. Maybe I'll get around to finishing them this next winter. A couple need to be glued still.

Yesterday I finally got a clean shot on a woodchuck that had been living under my pole barn. It was in my front yard so I opened the front door a little bit to get the barrel of my 22 out and took the shot. I do love living in the country where that sort of activity can take place without anyone caring.

Spent the afternoon at my sister in laws building these steps and railing. Glad to be done with that project. After that Kathy and I got the lawn mowed at home. More oil on the GTG cutting boards. Almost bedtime. 5 am start at work tomorrow. 20250601_135333.jpg

A big storm like that can overwhelm any water treatment plant. They should alert the public about it and estimate when water will be safe again. Definitely stick to battled water until you know more.

Spent all day Friday -Sunday at Road America for the annual superbike races. It rather a little on Friday, during practice, but stock 1000 CC bikes were still hitting 174 mph top speed. The superbikes, modified 1000cc bikes, can hit 190 mph at RA. It was dry all the rest of the time, unless you were camping at the track Friday afternoon. It rained HARD Friday evening. Dry track time was the entire rest of the weekend. PXL_20250601_202351805.jpg

I wonder how fast my stock 2017 Road Glide would go around there? It does GPS and a radio.

Fine for the tour lap. The race king of the baggers bikes are so far from stock that you really shouldn't even call them "baggers". The engine looks pretty much like a regular HD or Indian, but that's about where it stops. The race baggers have 100k of work done to them. Even then, they're about the same speed around the track as a stock 600 supersport. That stock 600 supersport is about 12-15k in total. The rear swing arm on the hd's is about 30k alone.
Sure do. Probably buying another one this year as well. Might even buy a new one. I get to demo ride an Aprilia tuono 1100 on the 11th.

Early Sunday morning I emailed the town's sewer and water commission about the water. Of course, no one is in on weekends, but I did hear back from them early on Monday. Water main break was detected somewhere on my road. They got it all fixed up and water is back to its usual color :)
