    o_O I went red again.

474C - Cab with HVAC, loaded rear tires, and added third function kit down to loader. Started getting it dirty a few hours after it came off the trailer…..
    IMG_6500.jpeg
Almost went with the larger 494C, but that was more expensive and it would not make it under an 8’ door. This one fits nicely ……

    Congrats! :handshake:

A dealer that handled mahindra has picked up the tym line also.....along with ls (blue) tractors.

With the reputation mahindra has, I'm surprised that he has abandoned them in his line up.

At any rate, it will be interesting to hear of your reviews of the new tractor.

That is, if you keep it for any length of time!

Well. I’m hoping for good, reliable results out of this machine. I have to admit. I wanted a Kubota 1st. Or New Holland 2nd. Or Deere 3rd. All have dealers closer to my homestead. But, I just could not justify the additional 20k + for same size & options tractor.

I will rent a mini excavator for any large projects I do from now on. Let that machine do the heavy duty work, and then return it to them. This tractor will be doing lighter duty loader work and mowing.

I wanted the HVAC cab for year round comfort and no bugs bothering me. This will allow me to get more use out of it and enjoy that use.

Nice score! A dealer very close to use sells those. Keep us posted on how it does! The TYM version that resembles the BX is pretty reasonably priced.

Not a commonly known fact, but TYM builds a lot of tractors that get painted other colors (cough, cough, Mahindra). Does it have a Yanmar diesel in it ?

When I was looking for a tractor a number of years ago, I looked at them at a show and thought they were built pretty well for the price point that they were selling at.

My coworker bought a TYM about 6-7 weeks ago and loves it. I think he said they gave him 6 years of 0% interest too.

Mowing with mine right now. A big reason for going with new was the low interest rate for a long period of time. 2.99% for 84 months. Much better than 7.5% for 84 months on a used machine.

Forgot to mention. I do my research. I believe the trouble with the last (cough, cough) red tractor I had was a Quality Control problem. Hopefully that problem didn’t exist when this tractor was built.

Wasn’t knocking TYM or Mahindra at all. Good luck with your new rig.

I understand. Me either. I think it was just my bad luck with a quality control problem they had building that tractor. Like I said. I wanted a Kubota. But can’t justify the price tag.

Now have 7.1 hours on it. So far, so good. Nice to mow with. And turned some horse manure and hay combination over. Rain is back.

This is my first tractor with the newer style tires. Kind of a hydrid between R-1s and R-4s. I always liked the R-1s more for better traction. But the
R-4s are stronger for loader work and puncture resistance. I took it through some real wet, muddy spots while mowing and it did well. We shall see.

Thank you. I had them also add a plug-in block heater to it. Between the cab, and that, it should be a nice year round work horse.
